The most charming and cozy patio is one of the highlights of this intriguing Roman apartment. It is appr. 25 sq. Mts. large (appr. 250 sq. feet). It is generously endowed with plants, of which the most spectacular is a sumptuous, large bougainvillea plant with cascading branches festooned with extremely vivacious turquoise flowers.

However you also find small lemon and orange trees (including a rare Bergamot breed), and many other plants and flowers.

As the above photo shows, the patio is perfectly nested between the palace of the Botticelli apartment and other courts and gardens of the palaces surrounding it. It is thus very quiet (and tenants are asked to be quiet also, respecting all the neighbouring residents).

Finally, a peculiar feature of the patio is that the melodious bells of the Venerable English College (a Catholic seminary) softly strike the hours. The bells are thus a pleasant company during your meals "al fresco", helping you keep track of time during your vacation.
